The End of Poverty by Jefferey Sachs is an interesting read so far. I have to read it for Economic Development class and I only got up to page 38 or 39 with the three hours I spent at Borders. I would explain into detail what I've read, but then I wiki'd it and this sums it up better than I could right now.

Before I went to Borders, I went to Habit Burger. Yum yum! When I ordered, the person before me forgot their cup. So when I finished ordering, I picked up my cup and his cup and put it on his table. He was thankful and asked me to sit with him since he wasn't eating with anyone. I don't think he knew I wasn't eating with anyone, but he asked me anyway. So I figured since I wasn't eating with anyone, I'd join him lol Very odd, but I couldn't think of any ways to politely not eat with him. But I did enjoy talking to him.
His name is Wes. He's a peculiar high schooler from Antioch who came to UCD to take some GE's and experience Davis life for when he comes here to study Aeronautics. He didn't seem like a very sociable person, repeating what he says a lot. Our introductions were funny though because I told him my name is Tim and he kept saying Tiff. Funny way of speaking but sometimes when I do hear people say Tiff, I think they're saying Tim. But he distinctly was saying Tiff! I accepted it anyway lol He seems like a nice kid and seems to be enjoying Davis. I think he will like it when he actually starts undergrad here.
There was also a cute little girl at Habit Burger. I took a picture. I'm not a pedophile lol She walked up and down the aisle saying LALALA really loud haha cutie! Also, my double char burger with cheese and french fries was quite delectable! I love burgers. Burgers, fries, and pizza. I can never get sick of those. A bit on the expensive side here, but tastes better than In n Out. Plus they always grill the onions and add pickles. And there are lots of condiments on the side to get like ketchup (duh), chili peppers, pepperoncinis, bbq sauce, and etc
Also, the shirt I was wearing is doomed for stains. I've gotten a bloody nose and spilled blood on it. Today, I spilled some of my ice cold coffee drink on it. Partly a reason I spent so much time to ready 40 pages of a book was because I was in the restroom trying to get the stain out (plus I read slooow). It's pretty much gone though.
And today is too hot. I don't remember this summer being this hot last year! Check out the temperature reading on my car...
Just too darn hot. The drink I drank at Borders was deeeelicious... until the end that is. It was the Chocolate Coffee Crunch iced drink. Real coffee beans crushed into it. Very bitter at the end of the drink but tasty until then! I would order it again. I always feel bad going to Borders, reading their book, and putting it back on the shelf. They're still a business and I will support them if I use their stuff or else they'll go out of business! Or I can just take advantage of all the people who actually BUY books and keep reading at Borders for free. Meh, I can spend $3.20 for a drink rather than $18 for a book that I'll read once. That's all I have to say for today. I probably had other things to say but forgot. I really should bring a notepad with me everywhere I go...
